Come stay at our NEWLY renovated, 410 sq ft cozy studio condo at the Appalachian, which offers slope side accommodations right at the base of Vernon Peak. The studio comes with a KING size bed, Queen size sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchenette, gas fireplace and top floor valley views. Our guests can enjoy the heated outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna (open all seasons), underground parking and state-of-the-art fitness center. Enjoy a special getaway for a couple, small group or family!

And is also, a short walk to the Red Tail Lodge (a Winter staple) which offers a variety of dining and bar options close by. This cozy studio is also a short drive (4 miles) from Crystal Springs Spa as well as wineries, golf courses (some of which are Minerals, Crystal Springs, Black Bear, Great Gorge), horseback riding and beautiful walking trails. Another short drive (5 miles) is Pochuck Valley Farms where you can enjoy pear (Sept 1- Sept 30), apple (Aug 1 - Oct 31) and peach (Jul 14 - Sept 15) picking. *All dates are approximate and are subject to change, check timing with Pochuck Valley Farms ahead of your visit.* Legoland, which is a new theme park in Goshen, NY (officially opened Jul 2021) is about a 30 min drive (20 miles) and is great for the whole family. The park features whimsical themes like Lego Pirates, Brick Street, Lego City and Lego Castle. A fan favorite, Warwick, NY is located just 10 miles North which has great restaurants, small town gift shopping and the famous Warwick Drive-In movie theater.

I stayed at this location for 5 days for a dance competition and here is my experience. I’ll start by saying that I booked through Booking.com and did not realize it was through a private host( I would prefer to not rent privately). With that being said, I had a really great experience and would absolutely rent again from these owners. Pros: •The room was really clean for the most part( there was a significant amount of mold on the shower curtain liner which is why I say for the most part but overall very clean) • The host was extremely responsive to my messages; sense of urgency is very important to me! •The room was stocked well enough for my whole stay( me and 2 kids for 5 days) with paper towels and toilet paper, and there was even foil, salt and pepper, and olive oil, all which came in handy! •The instructions the host gave were phenomenal and so easy to follow- it really made everything so easy! Cons: • As stated I booked with Booking.com so I am not placing blame on the host for this because I don’t know if they are even to blame, but the description of the room was a little misleading-I didn’t realize there were pictures of several different rooms all together so what was pictured isn’t necessarily what you get. This wouldn’t be a big deal except I had planned for a full size refrigerator/ freezer because I had to feed my kids all week so I specifically wanted somewhere I could bring frozen foods which brings me to my next point • Freezer was broken throughout my stay- we did have a mini fridge with a tiny freezer so I did buy frozen food (thankfully it was just one box of pancakes because it was too small for anything else) and the freezer just defrosted the whole box and was pushing out hot air so I did have to throw those away but again no big deal. I will say I did not message the host about this because again it was one box of pancakes so I put no blame on them as I didn’t make them aware of the situation. •The parking garage is absolutely terrifying- It’s super dark and creepy; It was just me and my two girls so I didn’t feel super comfortable walking through there at all; thankfully there was lots of parking close to the elevator. Again this is more of a resort problem not a host problem at all.
